Production Skills Development

  Cowboy Shootout  We completed a mini project to help us with practical skills on premiere pro and getting used to using lighting and the camera. We shot multiple takes of scenes to get the right ones to go into the video. I used a variation of close up shots including both the medium close up and the extreme close up. I also used the Dutch tilt to show tension in the scene. We did try to use the green screen but the lighting wasn't correct so we couldn't edit it. We also had to make everything black and white in post to show an old fashioned theme in the video. With it being a cowboy shootout I had to use the cowboy shot to show the guns (Dettol Spray) and the tension in the scene. I worked very well with the people in my group and they were easy to co-operate with. The Client Better Health motivates the nation to lead healthy and active lives. The campaign encourages people to take steps in order to improve their physical and mental health. Change 4 Life is also apart of the better health campaign. Campaign History Change 4 Life was launched in 2009 as a part of the government scheme 'Healthy Weight, Healthy Life'. In 2021 It was brought in as a part of the Better Health brand. Its purpose has been to inspire a movement in which everyone can help to improving children's diets and physical health levels. The campaign heavily  emphasizes on making a difference and motivating people to do something about their health.   The Key Factors The Better Health campaign focuses on 3 key factors; Lose Weight, Get Active, Quit Smoking. Interpreting The Brief

Assignment Brief The assignment is to create promote a campaign for young people pushing for Better Health. The Campaign is for the NHS and is aimed at ages 16-20 to raise awareness and to get people involved in the campaign.  The choices of media are: - A TV Advert - A Radio Advert - Advertising or Promotional Material The three key sectors to focus on are: - Quit Smoking - Lose Weight - Get Active Client Context The Better Health Campaign has been launched to help reduce the risk of people being hospitalized with COVID-19 and to help reduce the risk of developing serious illnesses. The goal is to reduce the risk of things such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease and 12 different types of cancer.
